One Incredible Platform
Our team has been hard at work on a brand new Desktop Browser app as part of the Zoom v8 release. We rebuilt our powerful Visual Asset Browser (VAB) from the ground up to have an even more intuitive & streamlined interface.
The key features that matter most to creative users are available right at their fingertips in the redesigned UX.
A personalized home page lets you track your favorite folders and assets as you work on projects. Shortcuts make it easy to jump straight to relevant folders, or to highlight special projects or elements to the team via the Spotlight feature. Your activity & comment feed with quick jump to links is accessible from the home page:
Manage your work-in-progress and your post-production projects with ease using our secure built-in working copy management features.
Checkout projects from the context menu in the desktop app, and the redesigned status indicators will alert you to their sync status.
Each icon follows the folder navigation tree through a breadcrumb trail.
You can quickly see which project folders you are working on, and most importantly, monitor any changes happening to those project folders.
Offline media errors are now extinct! Zoom 8.0 is a video editor’s dream. Enjoy cool features, time saving automation including background Adobe After Effects renders using Adobe Media Encoder and advanced search in all our plugins
Advanced search is available from within our extensive array of plugins. Combining multiple metadata terms for example including AI-based metadata lets you perform highly complex searches. Click on advanced search, select the metadata criteria and start the search.
Results are time-coded which means that you can click on a marker and immediately jump to that frame in a video saving a ton of time and effort.
Another cool function and by far our most popular, is searching inside a video with markers. You can now do this from within the Adobe CC plugins.
Click on a video, search in the timeline, locate the marker, click on the marker and stream the video from the point where the marker shows up.
This is hugely important to video editors because it will allow them to quickly preview sub-clips without scrubbing through the timeline. Instantly jump to any objects, logos, faces, or moments identified by AI engines saves so much time and frustration!
We have always supported multiple metadata timelines. Be it from AI/ML engines: speech to text, face or logo recognition, or human curated tracks such as description or scene. In this release, editors can import one or more tracks as searchable clip markers in Premiere.
This is an Evolphin exclusive feature.
Our next generation Web Client metadata logger makes it super easy to use keyboard shortcuts when adding new markers to a timeline.
Add multiple markers…and once they are added, it’s easy to drag the handles to resize the data point and change the duration of the markers. You can also select multiple markers to move them and line them up with specific moments
Producers or marketing teams can now select the key moments from a video footage they wish the editor to use and automatically save it as a sequence asset from within the Web Client.
Use cases range from a producer who wants to perform selects from a recent video shoot or a marketing manager who wants to brief her video team on which moments to highlight in a video campaign. And the best part is the Web Client user doesn’t even need to know how to use an NLE such as Adobe Premiere to accomplish this!
Editor quickly finishes producer’s rough-cut sequence in their desktop editor app.
New features like powerful real time comment counts, likes and dislikes complement the only collaboration app you will need!
Yes, go ahead and get rid of the expensive, cumbersome collaboration, review & approval service for an integrated experience in our Web Collection App.
